MEET THE DESIGN TEAM

 Sue J
Hi I'm Sue I'm 59 years old and I'm married to my best friend Paul..I've been crafting since I was a child with my Grandma and my mam and I really got into card making when my hubby took ill  and I began making cards for the British Heart Foundation so that's around 12 years now. I'm employed as a Civil Servant but right now I'm on a carer's break to look after my hubby. Our house is ruled by two cocker spaniels Ollie and Woody they are both gorgeous!. Since I started blogging I have met online and in person some amazing friends and I'm really chuffed to be owner of the Crafty Calendar Challenge
xx
I live in Wednesbury in the West Midlands and I've always enjoyed all things crafty and have been making cards for a few years, my favourite technique is Stamping (I think it's the colouring in I like). My main time for cardmaking is while Martyn is out birdwatching. This is a blog for cards I've made - mainly for challenges!!!

My name is Helen and I live on the Wirral in north west England.  I work for my local Abbeyfield Society as an Activities Coordinator - my time is split between a residential home and two sheltered housing blocks.  My job is a varied one - I do craft sessions, chair exercises, crosswords, dominoes and lots more and I really enjoy it.  When I'm not working, I'm usually crafting!  My main interests are making cards and ATCs and I love stamping and using Promarkers.  I'm lucky enough to be on the Design Teams for Little Claire, Pink Gem, Nutcrafters and Card Creations Plus and I also teach regular workshops for Little Claire.  I'm also part of the teams for several challenge blogs.

Sue P
"Hello there, my name is Sue (aka Sue Pxxx on my blog) I have been married to my totally understanding husband Graham for almost 46 years.   He supports my crafting habit and uses his DIY skills to make shelves, cupboards etc for me and also photographs my creations.   His only moan is about the weight of the stuff in my craft room, because he thinks it will eventually fall into the dining room below - he's probably right!

I have been crafting since I was about 8 years old, and have had many crafty hobbies but eventually started card making about 17 years ago.   I spend far too much money on my crafting and am sure I have enough stash to last me for about 250 years, give or take!!

I started my blog in July 2012 (http://susiesplanet.blogspot.co.uk/)  and I love it, I never realised how many friends I could make.  I have a very wobbly/warped sense of humour and am always telling stories, on my blog, about our cat Blossom and her life - oh boy!  I am really pleased to have been chosen to become part of the Crafty Calendar Design Team and love an excuse to make a card or three!!!"

Bev L

Hi! I'm Bev, I'm a 50 something retired Dental Nurse. Have been happily married to Keith for 36 years & we have one son, James, who is quite self sufficient. We are 'grandparents' to James' dog - Poppy. You might see her now & again on my blog as she likes to 'help' !

I love crafting - trying to make cards, ATC's, jewellery, stamping, painting, mixed media - a bit of everything really. Just like to experiment & enjoy my crafting.

I love looking around people's blogs and entering a few challenges here & there.

Katrina

Hello! My name is Katrina and I live in Somerset with my lovely hubby Will and my loony cat Millie.

After recovering from arm injuries in 2006 I was introduced to card-making and quickly got hooked. I love stamping as there are so many different techniques you can try. My favourite (when I can manage it) is colouring in - it's very relaxing :)

I run a local card-making club which meets once a month and I am lucky enough to be part of the Lili of The Valley Design Collective
